About This Recipe
This “Bunny Buddies” snack mix is a fantastic, no-bake treat that comes together in just 15 minutes. It’s an adaptation of the classic Muddy Buddies (also known as Puppy Chow), but with an Easter flair thanks to pastel M&M’s. This recipe yields enough for 12 snack-sized bags, making it ideal for sharing at parties, packing in lunchboxes, or giving as small gifts.

- 2 Gallon-sized Resealable Plastic Bags (or one very large bowl with a lid)
- Large Microwave-Safe Bowl
- Spatula or Sturdy Spoon
Ingredients
- 9 cups rice Chex cereal (or any other crispy rice cereal)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate; we highly recommend Guittard or Ghirardelli for superior flavor)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 and 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup pastel M&M’s

- Step 1: Prepare Cereal. Measure 9 cups of rice Chex cereal into a large mixing bowl. Set this aside for later use.
- Step 2: Melt Chocolate Mixture. In a separate large, microwave-safe bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, chocolate chips, and unsalted butter.
